Intimate Laser Treatment: RecoSMA® (Er:YAG)

Non-thermal regenerative therapy for women and men — vulvar/vestibular mucosa, perineal & genital scars, age-related trophic change
RecoSMA® is an Er:YAG (≈2940 nm) technique delivered via the SMA module that creates controlled micro-ablative action at the surface and micro-stimulation in deeper layers. The goal is to stimulate angiogenesis, granulation, and re-epithelialization with minimal collateral heat—ideal for fragile intimate tissues.
Who we treat
Women
- Vulvar/vaginal trophic issues with micro-fissuring, dryness, entry pain (post-partum, post-inflammation, peri/post-menopause).
- Perineal scars / episiotomy with texture irregularity, tightness, discomfort.
- Chronic fissuring at posterior fourchette (after infection is treated and neoplasia excluded).
- Vulvar lichen sclerosus (LS) — adjunct to standard medical care (symptom relief, tissue quality).
Men
- Genital lichen sclerosus (LS / “BXO”) of foreskin/glans with fissuring, dryness, pruritus — adjunct to medical therapy.
- Age-related genital skin atrophy/fissuring (glans/coronal sulcus/foreskin).
- Post-circumcision scar discomfort/tightness (once fully healed).
Not for warts/HPV: RecoSMA is regenerative, not ablative excision. For condyloma, use the 3-wave laser scalpel (contact, high-frequency pulsed).
Age-related sexual comfort & microcirculation (women & men)
With age/hormonal change, microcirculatory support and epithelial turnover decline, causing dryness, micro-fissuring, dyspareunia (women) or skin fragility and fissuring (men).
RecoSMA® acts as a healing stimulus: it recruits blood to the treated zone and promotes granulation and re-epithelialization, improving trophism, moisture tolerance, and scar pliability.
Labia Majora — Skin Quality & Subtle Contour Support
What improves: tissue trophism & microcirculation, dermal tone (mild turgor), surface crepeiness, and envelope smoothness.
Coming soon: Intravaginal RecoSMA® applicator for vaginal dryness
Upgrade-ready for existing MULTILINE™ devices
- What it is: A dedicated intravaginal applicator designed to deliver RecoSMA’s low-energy, regenerative pattern to the vaginal mucosa for vaginal dryness.
- How it will be used: Segmental, circumferential coverage via controlled probe positioning/rotation; stimulating (non-thermal) passes consistent with RecoSMA’s philosophy. Final clinical workflows and parameter ranges will be provided with release documentation.
- Availability: To be introduced in the near future; availability and training timelines may vary by region/regulatory status.
Key takeaway
RecoSMA® gives your clinic a non-thermal regenerative option for women and men: it improves microcirculation and trophism, supports re-epithelialization, and softens scar tissue with minimal downtime.
